The Cherry Creek Corporate Center Metropolitan District is a Title 32 Special District that has been established for the purpose of financing and installing street, park and recreation, water, sanitation, transportation, mosquito control, safety protection, fire protection, and television relay and translation improvements of the District; and all other improvements or services permitted by Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S. (collectively, the “Public Improvements and Services”), except as specifically limited by the Amended and Restated Service Plan for the District approved by the City of Glendale on December 4, 2012, as it may be amended from time to time (the “Service Plan”). The Public Improvements and Services are for the use and benefit of the taxpayers of the District. The District is located in City of Glendale, Arapahoe County, Colorado. The District is a quasi-municipal political subdivision of the State of Colorado authorized to provide specialized services that the City of Glendale does not provide. The District may incur a maximum debt of $20,000,000. The District may use any and all legally available revenues of the District, including ad valorem property tax revenues, tax increment revenues, and specific ownership tax revenues, to repay such debt. The maximum mill levy shall be the maximum mill levy the District is permitted to impose upon the taxable property within the District for payment of debt and shall be the maximum debt mill levy permitted to be imposed under the Colorado Revised Statutes, the Colorado Constitution, and the election questions approved by the District’s voters. The District must file an Annual Report with the City of Glendale, the Division of Local Government, the State Auditor, and the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder. The District’s boundaries overlap with the boundaries of Cherry Creek School District 5, Arapahoe County, Developmental Disability, City of Glendale, Arapahoe Library District, Cherry Creek Corporate Center – Glendale URA, Cherry Creek Corporate, Regional Transportation, Urban Drainage & Flood, and Urban Drainage & Flood (S Platte).
